The Beatles’ reunion at Change Begins Within released on DVD

Released on 1st of September by Eagle Rock Entertainment, the DVD of the historic Change Begins Within 2009 benefit concert captures among other spectacular performances Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr teaming up on stage.

The show that took place in the sold-out Radio City Music Hall in New York also featured other entertainment heavy-weights such as Sheryl Crow, Moby, Ben Harper, Jerry Seinfeld, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Paul Horn, Angelo Badalamenti, Betty LaVette and Jim James.

The David Lynch Foundation (DLF) event marked a reunion on stage of the two surviving members of the Beatles as well as launched the organization which works to provide bullet-proof stress relief technique of Transcendental Meditation to at-risk populations to a new level of public awareness.

The DVD will contain not only the two Beatles performing their best-known hits and teaming up for “With A Little Help From My Friends” but features also other amazing collaborations such as Vedder and Harper performing David Bowie and Queen’s “Under Pressure,” Donovan and James performing “Hurdy Gurdy Man” and the entire parade of stars singing together McCartney’s “Cosmically Conscious” and the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There.”

The 2009 concert kicked-off a series of star-studded events the David Lynch Foundation has continued to organize which have included performances by Katy Perry, Sting, Hugh Jackman, Ellen DeGeneres, Kesha, Sharon Isbin and Angelique Kidjo among others.

All the proceeds from DLF’s spectacular shows have gone to fund teaching Transcendental Meditation to underserved populations such as inner-city youth, homeless, veterans, survivors of domestic violence and so forth, helping alleviate trauma and transform lives.
